About Us:
No More Sidelines is a nonprofit organization, run by volunteers, committed to helping special needs children in our community. We provide special needs children, ages eight and older, an opportunity to play sports year round and to participate in community events and outings. Please click on the “athletic tab” to learn about specific sporting events.

There is no cost to your child to participate with No More Sidelines. Essential athletic equipment and uniforms are provided. Uniforms are issued at the beginning of each sporting season and collected at the end of each season. Your child does not need to participate in every sport to be a part of No More Sidelines.
It is not necessary to play a sport to be a part of No More Sidelines. In addition to athletics, there are monthly social and community outings. Some past events include Halloween and Christmas parties, pool and pizza parties, Christmas caroling, trips to area state parks, roller skating parties, dances, and family picnics. Please click on the “community events” tab for upcoming information.
We attempt to update our web page on a regular basis. We also send out a monthly newsletter about upcoming events. If you would like to receive a newsletter, please call (231) 724-7142 and leave your name, address, and phone number or e-mail us at nomoresidelines.org.
Physicals are required for your child to participate in athletics. The physical needs to be updated every three years. Forms will be provided. If you are unable to obtain a physical for your child, No More Sidelines will have a qualified licensed health professional available at practice one evening each season to conduct physicals.
Volunteers are essential to this program. If you would like to donate your time, please contact us.
No More Sidelines is funded through generous donation from the community, grants, and annual fund raising events.
No More Sidelines invites you and your child to join us. We are a recreational league that works with your child – no matter what their needs may be. We will help your child to build friendships, learn new skills, be involved in physical exercise outside of the school setting, be part of a team, and be involved in leisure activities with their peers.
